How Positions are Determined

Following each election, the Board discusses who should assume each of the five positions. When members are in agreement, they formalize the assignments by voting on them.

Staggered Terms in Effect

Section 7.3, Term of Office, of the Bylaws that were approved on Mar 8, 2011, states, "... Directors shall be elected to a term of two (2) years to replace those Directors whose terms are expiring."

Bruce was elected at the Jul 28, 2022, election, and Marci was appointed at the Aug 11, 2022 meeting. Both are serving 2-year terms.

Mark and L.J. were elected at the Jul 8, 2021, election, and Kathy was appointed at the Aug 12 meeting; all three are serving 2-year terms.

In addition, we receive updates from the Police, Sheriff, and other County authorities (COVID-19 updates regularly appear here) that keep everyone well informed.


Community Association Meetings

Upcoming Meeting Dates

Meeting Time and Location

Beginning in April 2022, community association meetings once again became public. Meetings are held on the second Thursday of the month, unless otherwise specified. All meetings are at 6:30 pm. The meeting location is announced about a week beforehand.

In pre-COVID times, they were held at the Borchard Center at 190 North Reino Road. However, it appears that they may no longer be held there.
